TeacherActive is looking for a Qualified Teacher to work in SEND secondary schools across Sheffield. We work with settings with vacancies for Qualified Teachers on a part-time and full-time basis.

As a Teacher, your responsibilities will include planning lessons and delivering them on a 1:1 basis, supporting and developing SEN students, and catering your teaching to each student’s needs. This is a great chance to gain abundant experience to add to your profile and keep every day exciting.

The ideal SEND QTS should have the following:

A dedicated person who has QTS
Experience in Special Educational Needs teaching
A calm, patient, and caring persona
Good behaviour management
A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
Experience in working with and supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis
