Job Description

Quality Assurance Engineer\nLocation: Greater Manchester\nSalary: Up to £40k + Benefits\n\nWe are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join a leading aerospace business, working across multiple manufacturing units within a diverse and dynamic team. This role will focus on maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS), with a strong emphasis on auditing and continuous improvement.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Conduct audits across the business units, ensuring adherence to the robust AS9100 QMS.\n\n * Identify non-conformances and implement corrective actions, ensuring alignment with best practices.\n\n * Develop and improve documentation, ensuring it remains current and effective.\n\n * Lead two key improvement projects annually, such as digitizing training records or enhancing supplier quality processes.\n\n * Work with internal and external stakeholders to maintain consistent quality practices across all sites.\n\nAbout You:\n\n * You must be a certified Lead Auditor for AS9100 with a proven track record in quality systems and auditing.\n\n * An engaging personality with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across diverse teams.\n\n * Ability to adapt to an established QMS while driving continuous improvements.\n\nBenefits:\n\n * Competitive salary of up to £40k per annum.\n\n * Pension scheme:\n\n * Retail discount and flexible benefits scheme\n\n * Performance-related bonus.\n\n * 25 days holiday + 8 statutory holidays.\n\n * Excellent career development opportunities.\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a forward-thinking company at the forefront of aerospace manufacturing.
