QA Manager – Food Manufacturing

Manchester Area

£40,000 – £45,000 | Monday–Friday, Days

Reporting into the Technical Manager, you’ll be joining someone who is known for being forward-thinking, collaborative, and passionate about developing strong teams. This is someone we know, have worked with before and have had brilliant feedback for.


This role is positioned as a true number two within the technical function, offering both responsibility and the opportunity to influence how things are done moving forward.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting and developing a small QA team (currently two people)
  • Helping to embed and improve quality systems and processes across site
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Working closely with the Technical Manager to drive continuous improvement initiatives


This isn’t about maintaining the status quo. It’s about building on recent progress and helping shape a quality function that supports the business as it continues to grow.

  • Experience as a QA Manager or Senior QA Supervisor in food manufacturing
  • A strong understanding of food safety and quality systems
  • Someone proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a changing environment
