Location: Telford, ShropshireSalary: Up to £45,000 + 32 days annual leave, pension and sick payContract: Full-time, PermanentHours: Full-time (standard site hours)We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our Edgmond Foods site in Telford. Applicants must have experience within food manufacturing in a senior quality role, with proven experience managing and developing a team.As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead the QA function and ensure our products consistently meet the highest standards of food safety, legality and quality. Working closely with the Technical Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining compliance with BRC Version 9, strengthening quality systems and driving continuous improvement across the site.What Youll Do Lead and develop the QA teamManage day-to-day quality and technical complianceOversee QMS, internal audits, CCP monitoring and documentationSupport production teams in maintaining high standardsInvestigate complaints, non-conformances and conduct root cause analysisManage microbiological sampling, GMP checks and product quality reviewsAssist with customer visits and external auditsWhat Youll Bring 5+ years experience in food manufacturing quality/technical rolesStrong knowledge of food safety legislation and BRC standardsFood Safety Level 3, HACCP Level 3 and Internal Auditor certificationExcellent attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentWhy Join Us?
