The Opportunity
This is a hands-on QA role within a high-volume food manufacturing site operating 24/7. You’ll be part of a shift-based team responsible for maintaining standards across production during both day and night operations.
This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, around-the-clock environment and is comfortable taking responsibility when management presence is lower on nights.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Conducting factory floor audits, quality checks, and hygiene inspections
* Monitoring and verifying Critical Control Points (CCPs)
* Ensuring full compliance with HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
* Supporting BRC / audit readiness and traceability processes
* Working closely with production teams to identify and prevent issues in real time
* Escalating non-conformances and ensuring corrective actions are followed through
* Maintaining accurate, audit-ready documentation at all times
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in a food manufacturing environment (essential)
* HACCP Level 3 (essential)
* Food Safety Level 3 (essential)
* Strong understanding of GMP, hygiene, and compliance standards
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident working independently, especially on night shifts
* Able to challenge and influence production teams when standards slip
* A genuine go-getter attitude – proactive, accountable, and solutions-focused
* Comfortable working 12-hour shifts on a Panama pattern
