Job Description
Our client is currently looking for a couple of QC professionals that will support their regulated manufacturing business. The company specialises in preparing and releasing finished goods that must comply with strict industry, safety, and quality frameworks. Role PurposeThe QC Analyst ensures that all in-process and final product checks within designated production areas meet compliance expectations. This includes verifying that work follows internal standards, industry requirements, and good manufacturing practice (GMP). The role is hands-on and requires close collaboration with production teams, quality personnel, and senior quality approvers to maintain reliable output and consistent product integrity. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, verify, and sign off work prior to processing, following internal quality procedures.Provide clear instructions to production teams on how each job must be executed according to relevant specifications.Conduct regular in-process inspections, including during staff breaks, to maintain continuous oversight.Examine materials, packaging, and processes to identify factors that may affect product quality, escalating concerns immediately.Ensure all operations adhere to GMP and internal procedural requirements.Review and complete production documentation, ensuring it is ready for final quality approval.Update internal systems to reflect stock movements and production progress.Notify senior quality personnel of any issues, deviations, or risks to product integrity without delay.Oversee quality-related aspects of work carried out within assigned production rooms.Confirm that teams follow reference samples or example configurations provided with each batch.Record and escalate non-conformities in line with procedure.Complete deviation reports and rework documentation where required.Support preparation of jobs and materials according to production planning needs.Verify room clearance checks at the beginning and end of every batch.Reconcile materials and components at job completion, ensuring accuracy.Ensure regular cleaning is carried out and recorded in line with housekeeping requirements.Provide guidance and on-the-job training to new team members when needed.Maintain a flexible approach to cover operational demands, which may include additional hours or supporting other areas. Expected OutcomesClear communication to production teams on correct labelling, assembly, or packing procedures.Timely completion of quality tasks in line with production schedules.Achievement of target output levels for allocated production rooms.Reduction in avoidable errors due to consistent staff training and oversight.Strong contribution to the wider Quality team’s operational goals.
