DSC Nutrition Ltd is a rapidly growing UK manufacturer of health supplements, operating across dedicated warehouse, production, and packaging facilities.

As we continue to expand, we are strengthening our in-house laboratory capability to ensure the highest standards of product quality, active ingredient accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

We are now seeking a Quality Control Analyst to join our Quality team and take ownership of analytical testing for raw materials and finished products.

The Role

This is a hands-on laboratory role responsible for testing active ingredients in tablets, capsules, and powders using our in-house analytical equipment.

You will play a key role in verifying label claims (e.g. 14mg iron per tablet), testing botanical materials such as turmeric, and ensuring all products meet specification before release.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing of raw materials and finished products
• Quantify active ingredients using laboratory equipment
• Verify supplier Certificates of Analysis
• Conduct testing on organic and botanical materials
• Accurately record and interpret analytical data
• Support investigations into out-of-specification results
• Maintain laboratory equipment logs and calibration records
• Assist with audits and compliance requirements
• Work closely with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams

About You

Essential

• Experience working in a laboratory environment
• Experience operating analytical testing equipment
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Organised and methodical approach
• Comfortable working independently

Desirable

• Experience in food, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Experience with active ingredient quantification
• Familiarity with GMP environments
• Relevant qualification in chemistry, food science, or related field
