Quality Control Inspector

Based in Trafford Park, Manchester, our client is a global manufacturing and distribution company that are seeking to find a permanent Quality Control Inspector to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further their career in quality control or quality assurance within a supportive environment.

The role is office-based, working 38hrs per week (including a fully paid lunch break). Full and comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you’re confident and successful in your position.

Typical working hours are 8am – 4.45pm Mon – Thurs and 8am – 1pm on Fridays.

THE JOB

Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting visual inspections and measurements to ensure products meet quality standards

Following established inspection procedures and documentation protocols

Identifying, documenting, and escalating quality issues or non-conformities

Assisting in implementing continuous improvement initiatives

Collaborating with production teams to resolve quality concerns effectively

Maintaining accurate quality records and prepare inspection reports

Participating in calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment

Supporting internal audits and complying with health and safety regulations

THE PERSON

Essential Requirements:

Attention to detail with a methodical approach to work

Good organisational and communication skills

Ability to work effectively within a team

Proactive attitude with a keen eye for precision

Desirable Requirements:

Previous experience as a QC Inspector or QA Inspector

Basic understanding of quality standards and manufacturing processes
