Quality Control Lab Technician

We are seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Technician to join a well-established organisation within manufacturing and associated construction products.
This is a hands-on role involving mechanical, physical, and thermal testing to ensure compliance with relevant product standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine quality control testing on raw materials and finished products including compressive strength, tensile strength and thermal connectivity.
Prepare samples (casting, curing, cutting, and conditioning) in line with relevant standards
Accurately record and maintain test data in compliance with ISO 9001 / ISO 17025
Perform calibration checks and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment
Identify, investigate, and report non-conformances
Support internal and external audits
Maintain high standards of lab housekeeping in line with 5S principles
Adhere to all health and safety procedures
About You
Experience in a laboratory or quality control environment
Good understanding of materials testing
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and challenge results were needed
Ability to follow procedures and work independently
Effective communicator with a proactive, team-focused approach
