Quality Control Laboratory Technician - Night Shift Irlam, Manchester c£28,000 + shift allowance Working hours 10pm-6am As a Laboratory Technician, you will carry out both routine and non-routine quality control analysis, directly contributing to the verification of incoming raw materials, in-process testing, and comprehensive final product analysis. This role will operate in support of a manufacturing plant environment which runs on a 24 hour basis with you providing weekday night shift analytical support to the team between Monday 10pm and Saturday 6am (there is a weekend shutdown). What youll do: The role is going to be mostly a laboratory based job which provides analytical data to the wider team. This will be analysis of a range of chemical products that are getting manufactured such as surfactants the role will be to give that detailed raw material, in process and final product testing. Fundamentally so the plant knows that it is using material thats correct, that their processes are working and that the final product is as-intended.
