Create are currently supporting a well-established UK fashion brand who are looking for an experienced Freelance Quality Controller to provide ad-hoc within their Leicester-based team.

Working across a multi-product Womenswear and menswear range, you will support the business in maintaining product quality standards from development through to production and bulk.

The Role…

• Carry out garment and product inspections across a multi-product range including wovens, jerseys and knitwear
• Measure and assess garments against approved specs, blocks and graded measurements
• Identify quality issues, construction faults and fabric concerns, providing clear feedback to the wider team
• Support fit, workmanship and finish standards, ensuring consistency across suppliers
• Review samples and bulk submissions, flagging risks and recommending corrective actions
• Liaise with internal teams and suppliers to resolve quality issues efficiently
• Ensure products meet agreed quality standards, performance expectations and compliance requirements

About you…

• Proven experience working as a Quality Controller within fashion (womenswear and/or menswear)
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics and manufacturing processes
• Confident measuring and assessing fit and workmanship across multi-product categories
• Excellent attention to detail with a practical, solutions-focused approach
• Comfortable working at pace and supporting short-term cover requirements
• Ability to work onsite in Leicester for the full contract period
