Quality Controller

TQR are working exclusively with a Manufacturer based in Devon to recruit A Quality Controller at the start of a growth journey for the business. Reporting to the Operations Director the successful candidate will ensure all products meet the highest quality, safety, and regulatory standards. You will inspect materials, monitor production processes, report non-conformities, and collaborate across departments to prevent defects and improve processes. This role requires excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work proactively with the production, design and wider teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Examine raw materials and components before production.
* Conduct first-off and final inspections of materials, WIP, and finished goods. Verify that production outputs meet design specifications.
* Ensure all products are checked and recorded in-time for dispatch.
* Implement and monitor quality procedures at each production stage.
* Ensure all processes and procedures are being carried out correctly.
* Identify non-conformities and raise them with relevant teams.
* Maintain accurate inspection records, test results, and quality logs. Prepare quality reports for monthly reports and customer support packs.
