Due to an increase in workload within the business, our client, a leading Manufacturing company based near Keighley are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to join their existing team on a permanent basis.
As part of the Quality Engineering Team, candidates will be required to work with customers, supplier and internal staff to investigate and address NCR's raised and assure quality standards are adhered to.
Interested candidates will ideally be minimum HNC Qualified in a engineering/ quality discipline with a demonstrable background within Quality Engineering with a broad understanding of manufacturing processes including Machining and Assembly..
This position is based on days and available for an immediate start.
Hours - Mon – Friday 37.5 hours – early finish friday
Role Description
• Ensure supplied and internally manufactured products comply with engineering drawings, manufacturing specifications, and all applicable company, customer, and statutory standards.
• Support and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 requirements and contribute to continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS). Knowledge of ISO 14001 & 45001 would be advantageous.
• Act as a recognised point of contact for all quality-related issues within the business. Supplier, Customer & Internal Interface
• Liaise directly with suppliers, customers, and internal functions to investigate non-conformances and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented.
• Monitor supplier quality performance, support supplier development activities, and drive improvements where required.
• Ensure customer complaints are managed effectively, with clear communication and timely resolution.
Skills & Attributes
* Minimum HNC Qualified in an Engineering/ Quality discipline
* Experience as a Quality Engineer within an Engineering/ Manufacturing environment.
* Broad knowledge of manufacturing processes including Machining, Fabrication and Assembly
* Certified in Auditing to 9001 (desirable)
