Quality Engineer

As a Quality Engineer you will be working in conjunction with Project Engineers and Section Leaders, reporting directly to the Quality Management, and ultimately to the Company Directors. You should have a good working experience of Quality Management processes (Preferably AS9100, & AS13100), especially in the implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning, Production Part Approval Planning and Risk Management techniques.

Quality Engineer will be involved with:

This will be a customer facing role, you will be the key customer interface with multiple Aerospace customer accounts related to quality issues Addressing internal & external process & product non-conformance issues Performing root cause corrective action (RCCA) analysis Understanding of AS13100 and its implementation throughout the company Process capability techniques including SPC, MSA & control plan Support internal & external audits, and closure of non-conformance reports Support Project Engineers and section leaders in performing RCCA analysis, address product quality issues and improving departmental KPIs Writing and Implementing Quality Plans for Production Readiness Supporting NPI, FAIR activities Reviewing customer specifications and ensure internal processes & procedures compliance Health, Safety and Environment compliance. Essential knowledge, skills & experience:

Good leadership and communication skills Good analytical ability and interpersonal skills 7-10 years of experience in aviation sector Experience of working to AS9100 & AS13100 Experience of working in a New Product Introduction environment Working knowledge and experience of APQP, PPAP and FMEA Experience and working knowledge of Problem-Solving techniques Experience of working with one or more Aerospace OEM requirements Good fluency in English
