Job Description
Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer in Sheffield to recruit a Quality Engineer.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, technically minded quality professional to play a key role in driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance to aerospace standards, and supporting operational excellence through effective root cause and corrective action (RCCA) activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and facilitate structured RCCA events, using recognised problem-solving tools such as 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys, and process mapping Conduct internal process audits to ensure compliance with AS9100, Rolls-Royce SABRE, and customer requirements Prepare, manage, and submit key documentation including FAIRs, concessions, and corrective action reports Support document control and maintain accurate, compliant quality records Liaise with customers and cross-functional teams to resolve concerns and drive improvement Contribute to business KPI improvement by reducing Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and promoting best practice
About You:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Quality role within Aerospace or precision manufacturing HNC (or higher) in Manufacturing, Production, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience) Strong knowledge of AS9100, RCCA, and quality management systems Experience with FAIRs, concessions, and customer-facing quality activities Excellent communicator with strong analytical and influencing skills Familiarity with machining, fabrication, or forming processes
