Quality Engineer for a major marine project!

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer OR Site Engineer with plenty of QA experience looking for your next freelance role?
Our Client offers a range and depth of civil engineering, infrastructure and building services across the UK building and maintaining highways, marine projects, airports, railway infrastructure, and commercial, industrial and educational buildings.

They have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Engineer working on a £30M+ section of a large nuclear project on the South coast. Working as part of their friendly site team you will assist with the following duties
The Role:

To provide the Project with accurate and timely quality assurance guidance.
Checking ITPs
To manage the Quality Assurance functions for allocated projects, assisting the Project(s) and Suppliers in producing the required Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs).
To determine by audit the level of compliance within the Project to ISO 9001 and any Client and/or Regulator-specific requirements.
Must be customer-focused by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating and meeting their needs. The right candidate:

Experience as Quality Engineer working on Civil Engineering projects OR experience as a Site Engineer with high levels of QA responsibility.
Local to Plymouth
Ability to gain baseline security clearance BPSS Benefits
