Overview of Quality Engineer Role A Wolverhampton-based Engineering and Manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support operational quality across electromechanical machinery, mechanical handling equipment, and engineered process systems.

The manufacturing environment includes machining, welding, and heavy fabrication so this role suits someone who understands how quality must be controlled across hands-on production and assembly operations.

This is a broad operational quality role where you will focus on goods in inspection, supplier NCRs, surveillance across manufacturing, route card compliance, and ensuring quality processes are followed. You will also support elements of project quality such as documentation checks, MITPs, and customer evidence packs when required.
