Quality Lineside Engineer


Filton – Onsite

6month contract (likely extension) Inside IR35

£31.30/hr Umbrella | £23.41/hr PAYE

Mon–Thu, 06:30–15:45 + optional OT Fridays

BPSS + additional accreditation required


About the Role

Join a fast paced aerospace production environment where you'll play a key part in ensuring products meet strict quality standards. You’ll work directly on the shop floor, carrying out inspections, supporting investigations and driving improvements that keep operations running safely and efficiently.


What You’ll Do

You’ll perform hand-on quality inspections, support rootcause investigations, oversee operator and process surveillance, and help ensure corrective actions are implemented. The role also involves raising and managing nonconformities, contributing to Lean activities, and ensuring documentation and standards remain accurate and compliant.


What You Bring

We’re looking for someone with at least 3 years’ experience in lineside or manufacturing quality roles, strong communication skills, and confidence working in a busy operational environment. You should be comfortable with problem solving methodologies, rootcause analysis, and engaging with crossfunctional teams. Aerospace, transport or similar highintegrity industry backgrounds are ideal.
