A leading precision engineering and manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting new and existing aerospace and high-precision manufacturing projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Quality Engineer Responsibilities:

• Support quality activities across new and existing projects, working closely with customers to understand and meet their requirements
• Produce and review FAIR (First Article Inspection Reports) in line with customer and industry standards
• Programme and operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) for inspection and validation activities
• Generate and maintain detailed inspection reports and quality documentation
• Create and manage ballooned drawings to support inspection processes
• Conduct and support FMEA (Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) and MSA (Measurement System Analysis) activities
• Liaise with internal teams and customers to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, procedures, and customer specifications

Quality Engineer Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Strong working knowledge of:
  • FAIR documentation
  • CMM programming and operation
  • Inspection reporting
  • FMEA and MSA methodologies
  • Balloon drawing interpretation and creation
• Experience working directly with customers on new project requirements
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, production, and quality teams
