We are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to work for an international manufacturing company supplying components to the Aerospace industry. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for maintaining compliance with aerospace quality standards and driving continuous improvement. If you have previous experience as a Quality Engineer gained in the Aerospace industry, then we want to hear from you.
What's on offer:
Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
Monday-Thursday 8am to 5pm and 7.30am to 12.30pm on Friday
25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Duties:
Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with AS9100 quality standards
Ensure processes and procedures adhere to customer specific requirements.
Investigate customer rejections resolving issues and implementing corrective actions.
Conduct root cause analysis and manage corrective actions arising from audits, non-conformance, and quality issues.
Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and work with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve any issues.
Support and drive quality improvement initiatives to improve performance.
Skills & Experience:
Must have an engineering background with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Technical knowledge within the aerospace sector is essential along with a strong understanding of AS9100 and AS9102 quality standards
Must be experience in auditing and root cause analysis (8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are prerequisite with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
