Role: Quality Engineer Location: Wellingborough Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

We're recruiting a Quality Engineer for a well-established precision engineering business in Wellingborough. a company that machines components for the automotive, aerospace and medical sectors.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes real pride in quality and wants to make a genuine impact in a close-knit, high-performing team.

What you'll be doing:

First article and in-process inspection on precision machined components CMM operation (PC-DMIS / Calypso) and customer inspection reporting NCR management — root cause analysis (8D / 5-Why) and CAPA Maintaining the QMS to ISO 9001:2015 standard Internal audits, supplier quality, and customer quality liaisonWhat you'll need:

Quality experience in a precision / CNC machining environment Confident with CMM, engineering drawings and GD&T Hands-on with NCR, CAPA, FMEA and control plans ISO 9001:2015 knowledge (AS9100 / IATF 16949 a bonus)
