Quality Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with aerospace standards and driving continuous improvement across our operations.

Working hours: Monday -Thursday 08:00 - 17:00 (half an hour unpaid lunch) Friday 0730 - 12:30

Salary: £40-45k

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform internal audits of processes and procedures to ensure compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements.

* Investigate and resolve customer rejections, implementing effective corrective actions.

* Conduct root cause analysis and manage corrective actions for audit findings and quality issues.

* Handle internal non-conformance reports and work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues.

* Support quality improvement initiatives to enhance performance and reduce defects.

Skills:

* Engineering experience.

* Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards (AS9100, AS9102).

* Experience in auditing and root cause analysis (8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys).

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities
