Quality Inspector - Engineering Slaithwaite, West Yorkshire £14.39 per hour 37 hours per week

We are recruiting on behalf of our engineering client for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team in Slaithwaite. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can work independently and maintain high quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

* Detailed inspection of components including first off, sample and final inspections

* Goods inward inspection of all outwork

* Checking raw materials against purchase orders

* Ensuring all gauges and measuring equipment are calibrated and maintained

* Recording defects and non-conformities and reporting to the relevant department

* Checking material certification against quality system requirements

* Identifying and reporting quality trends

* Effective communication at all levels

* Covering for other inspectors when required

* Carrying out in house training when needed

Key requirements:

* Previous Quality Inspection experience within engineering preferred

* Good understanding of calibrated measuring equipment

* Able to work independently and use own initiative

* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
