Quality Inspector

Daventry | £25,000 | Mon-Fri (8am-4pm)
\n
We're recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a well-established and growing engineering business. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in quality inspection who takes pride in maintaining high standards and supporting continuous improvement.
\n
What you'll be doing:
\n
\n
Inspecting materials, components, and finished products at various stages of production
\n
Using measurement equipment such as callipers, micrometres, plug gauges, and FARO Arm
\n
Conducting quality checks including crack testing and weld inspections
\n
Carrying out weld section testing and analysing results
\n
Managing inspection of incoming and outgoing goods, including stock sorting
\n
Supporting sample approvals (first-off, mid-off, last-off as required)
\n
Recording inspection data using systems such as Safety Culture
\n
Ensuring compliance with quality standards including ISO9001, IATF16949, and ISO14001
\n
Supporting the investigation and resolution of quality issues
\n
Liaising with internal teams to maintain production and quality standards
\n
Using Factory Master to release or reject parts
\n
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
\n

What we're looking for:

Previous experience in a Quality Inspection or Quality Assurance role
\n
Experience using precision measurement equipment
\n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
\n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
\n
Good understanding of manufacturing processes
\n
Confident working independently and as part of a team
\n
Proactive and problem-solving mindset
\n
