Quality Inspector

We’re hiring for a Quality Inspector to join a specialist precision engineering company based in Stockport.

This hands-on role will see you working within a highly regulated manufacturing environment, ensuring all products meet strict customer and industry standards.

What will you be doing as a Quality Inspector?

* Performing hands-on inspections of precision machined components and assemblies

* Ensuring all parts meet customer and regulatory requirements in line with ISO9001 / AS9100 standards

* Using a range of measuring equipment to check specifications and tolerances

* Conducting in-process inspections across all production departments

* Identifying and investigating non-conformances, working with the production team to implement corrective actions

* Supporting internal audits and contributing to quality improvements across the business

What will you need

* Experience as a Quality Engineer / Inspector within precision engineering

* A background in CNC machining or mechanical engineering

* Ability to read and interpret 2D & 3D technical drawings

* Experience operating CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines)

* Understanding of FAIR, SPC, FMEA, and other quality control tools

* Experience working in an ISO9001 / AS9100 accredited environment
