Quality Inspector Job Type:  Full-time Location: Luton Salary:  £16 to £18 per hour dependent on experience We are currently with a precision CNC machining facility based in Luton who are looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and integrity of their products. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes. Day-to-day of the role: Conduct visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards. Perform shop floor patrols to monitor the production process and identify any discrepancies. Carry out first-off and final inspections, including FAIR reporting as required. Participate in the deburring process to ensure smooth and clean product finishes. Operate and potentially program CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) to measure parts for conformity. Read and interpret technical drawings to verify product specifications. Manage and maintain inspection equipment, such as gauges and micrometers, ensuring they are calibrated and in good working order.
