Quality Inspector

We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a specialist engineering manufacturer operating on a global scale. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in precision machining environments who enjoys working with complex components and tight tolerances.

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of high-precision machined parts across a range of materials, supporting manufacturing operations by maintaining the highest quality standards.

Hours:
07:00 - 15:30 Mon - Thurs
07:00 - 14:30 Fri

Salary - D.O.E

Key Responsibilities:

Inspection of precision machined components using manual and CMM inspection methods
Operation, setting and programming of CMM machines, ideally Wenzel XO55
Dimensional inspection against engineering drawings and specifications
Identification and reporting of non-conformances
Working closely with production and engineering teams to support quality standards.

Key Requirements:

Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within a machine shop or precision engineering environment
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection techniques
CMM experience is essential (Wenzel experience highly desirable)
