Quality InspectorDaventry | £25,000 | Mon-Fri (8am-4pm)We're recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a well-established and growing engineering business. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in quality inspection who takes pride in maintaining high standards and supporting continuous improvement.What you'll be doing:Inspecting materials, components, and finished products at various stages of productionUsing measurement equipment such as callipers, micrometres, plug gauges, and FARO ArmConducting quality checks including crack testing and weld inspectionsCarrying out weld section testing and analysing resultsManaging inspection of incoming and outgoing goods, including stock sortingSupporting sample approvals (first-off, mid-off, last-off as required)Recording inspection data using systems such as Safety CultureEnsuring compliance with quality standards including ISO9001, IATF16949, and ISO14001Supporting the investigation and resolution of quality issuesLiaising with internal teams to maintain production and quality standardsUsing Factory Master to release or reject partsMaintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environmentWhat we're looking for:Previous experience in a Quality Inspection or Quality Assurance roleExperience using precision measurement equipmentAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityGood understanding of manufacturing processesConfident working independently and as part of a teamProactive and problem-solving mindsetWhat's in it for you:Competitive salaryMonday-Friday working hours33 days holiday including bank holidaysCompany pension schemeLife insurance (Death in Service benefit)Health & wellbeing programmeFree on-site parkingStable, long-term opportunity within a growing businessPlease apply with an up-to-date CV.
