We are working with a key client who have a track record stretching back over 40 years, they offer customers a very broad, but complimentary range of contract and sub-contract manufacturing capabilities. They are currently recruiting for the their site near Lancaster for an experienced Quality Inspector.
Key skills required of the Quality Inspector:
* A minimum of 2 years working experience as a Quality Inspector
* Proven experience in a Quality Inspection role within a precision engineering environment
* Ability to use conventional measuring equipment (e.g. micrometers, verniers, height gauges)
* Experience operating CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines)
* Ability to inspect components using 3D models and engineering drawings
* Strong understanding of quality standards, ideally within AS9100 environments
* Experience in aerospace, oil & gas, or defence sectors is a disctintict advantage
* High attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection
* Strong problem-solving skills
