Quality Inspector / Technician - Tewkesbury
2 Vacancies AvailableLocation: TewkesburySalary: £15.68 per hour (increasing to £16.02 per hour on completion of training)Hours: 37.5 per week
A leading global manufacturer within the advanced engineering sector is seeking two Quality Inspectors to join its expanding production team.
These roles sit within a state-of-the-art environment producing next- high-performance products.
Available Shifts
We currently have two positions available:
Rotating Shift Pattern (Vacancy 1)
Week 1: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm Week 2: Monday - Thursday, 2:00pm - 11:53pm
Fixed Day Shift (Vacancy 2)
Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
About the Role
As a Quality Inspector / Technician, you will ensure that manufactured components meet the highest standards of precision and quality. Working closely with production and engineering teams, you'll play a key role in maintaining inspection accuracy and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform visual and dimensional inspection of manufactured components Use manual inspection equipment (e.g., micrometers, verniers, plug gauges) Support engineering investigations, defect cataloguing and tooling modifications Follow all HSE requirements and maintain excellent housekeeping standards Accurately complete inspection documentation and reporting Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
Skills & Experience:
Desirable:
Experience in inspection, quality control or manufacturing environments Familiarity with manual or automated measuring equipment (e.g., CMM, optical measurement) Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
You will also bring:
Strong attention to detail and a high level of quality awareness Good coordination and communication skills Ability to complete documentation accurately Understanding of foreign object defects and their prevention A proactive, organised and team-focused approach
