Job Description

Due to the award of new aerospace programs, a global manufacturer of precision components has an urgent vacancy for an Interim Quality Manager. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust quality systems, ensuring full compliance with aerospace standards and providing leadership across the quality function.\nThe Role\nImplement and ensure compliance with Aerospace standards and processes.\nTake ownership of the quality management systems (ISO9001, IATF, AS9100, etc)\nDrive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (8D, RCCA)\nDevelop and mentor the quality team, promoting a strong quality culture\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and supply chain\nDevelop, implement and execute the Quality Strategic Plan.\nLead customer & internal audits, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.\nBe the point of contact for customer escalations and develop a close working relationship.\nTrain and mentor employees on quality procedures and best practice.\nThe Person:\nA good understanding of aerospace standards and procedures.\nExcellent leadership and influencing skills.\nProven experience in a Quality Management role.\nExposure of working within a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to meet deadlines/targets and prioritise workload\nExperience interacting & leading customer audits (internal, customer, and third-party) and working with regulatory agencies.\nStrong understanding of PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and other quality tools
