Job Description

Location: Coventry\n\nSalary: circa £60,000\n\nAn opportunity to join a European tier 1 automotive supplier in a new role as they establish their UK operation, to take responsibility for plant Quality Management operations.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead and maintain the plant Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, customer, legal, and internal requirements\nPlan, coordinate, and execute internal and external quality audits, acting as local owner of quality processes\nManage customer quality relationships, drive customer satisfaction, and handle complaints using structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5 Why)\nOversee supplier quality performance, support continuous improvement, and manage chargebacks when applicable\nDrive quality performance through inspections, analysis, corrective actions, and management of core quality tools (PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow, PPAP)\n\nSkills & Experience\n\nMinimum 3 years' experience in Quality Management, ideally within the automotive industry\n​​​​​​​Certified internal auditor for IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3\nStrong expertise in automotive quality tools and methodologies (PPAP, PSW, PFMEA, problem-solving)\nProven leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and develop teams\nExcellent communication skills, with strong MS Office proficiencyProcessing Your Data \n\nBis Henderson Recruitment is a leading provider of recruitment, interim management and consultancy services to the supply chain and logistics industry.
