Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading manufacturer of high-precision aerospace and industrial gas turbine components to recruit an experienced Quality Manager for their Leicester facility.


As the site’s senior quality leader, you will:


  • Lead, mentor, and develop the quality team, fostering accountability and collaboration
  • Implement and maintain the QMS in line with AS9100, AS13100, and NADCAP standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Zero Defects programs
  • Conduct root cause analysis and manage corrective actions using 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone methodologies
  • Oversee internal and external audits, resolving non-conformances
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality inquiries and audits
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to improve processes and supplier quality


What we’re looking for:


  • Extensive experience in engineering or quality within aerospace or heavy manufacturing
  • Proven ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
  • Demonstrated leadership managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt qualification
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Degree, HNC, or HND in a relevant engineering discipline
