Quality Manager
Seeking an experienced Quality professional within the aerospace sector to help drive quality processes within an established, growing manufacturer.
Responsible for the management of a small team of Inspectors. You will oversee all Calibration, Testing, and Qualification Processes.

4 day working week on a dayshift pattern every Friday off!

As they continue to grow, the company have now created a position for a Quality Manager to help drive quality processes within the business. This a fantastic opportunity to join at an exciting time within the business as they look to make the next step to continue their growth.
Salary :c£50,000per annum depending on experience. Pension Plan, Health Cash Plan, Life Assurance, EAP and Shopping Discounts
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 0645-1630; 37-hour week (15 minute paid break)
The Quality Manager Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for all Calibration, Testing, Qualification and associated Approvals
Inspection and verification of parts at all stages within business.
Responsible for maintenance of the required calibrated equipment in readiness for manufacturing at all times.
Responsible for the associated training of VisualFAIR software in line with Customer/Design Authority Approval Requirements.
Responsible for creating and approving FAIR / LAIR to specification.
Approved Signatory for Release and other inspection related quality processes within the Quality Management System.
Responsible for planning and conducting internal and external audits to the ISO9100 and
AS9100 standards.
Manage and lead the Inspection team to drive continuous improvement, identifying performance concerns and development opportunities within team.
The Quality ManagerRequirements:
Proven quality management experience within the aerospace sector.
Experience of working to ISO 9100, AS9100, EASA standards.
Recent First Article Inspection experience (FAIR/LAIR)
Qualified to conduct internal/external audits
Support colleagues in sharing knowledge and skills to create continuous skills development.
Some proven man management experience would be useful. Its a small established team so this is less of an emphasis.
This Quality Manager job is commutable from Rochford, Southend-on-Sea.
