Are you an experienced Quality Manager looking to work for an exciting business within an automotive industry to develop and promote quality standards across the board?Impact are partnered with an Engineering business who pride themselves on delivering high end products across the globe to find an ambitious and determined Quality Manager on a permanent basis.This role will be a hands on position working closely with Quality Inspectors and Design teams to improve Quality standards across the business. You will be in the luxury position of working closely with the Operations Manager who has developed from a Quality background.Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pmLocation: NorthamptonPay: £60,000 + annual bonusReporting to: Operations ManagerResponsibilities:Work closely with quality inspectors to investigate and mitigate quality issuesLiaise with design teams to understand quality issues and implement changesSpeak regularly with customers and deal with any quality standardsContact and update suppliers regarding requirementsEnsure all in-house systems and procedures are kept up to date and improvedDevelop metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvementReport details to the wider management team and represent the departmentStay up to date on changes that may affect supply and demand of products and materialsLead regular meetings with the quality teamTeam:Report to the Operations ManagerSupport Quality InspectorsWork closely with the design teamRequired Skills:Understanding of engineering and technical informationStrong people management skills and leadershipAble to work to deadlines and under pressureStrong problem solving skills and able to make decisionsMust be able to think strategicallyNegotiation and influencing skillsRequired Qualifications & Experience:Knowledge ISO9001Knowledge of AS9100 would be an advantageExperience from Aerospace or Automotive ManufacturingMust have a strong understanding of audit and complianceKey planning and organisational skillsExcellent relationship building and leadership skillsMust be IT literateIf you are ready to take the lead in developing Quality processes and support a business develop its standards, then please apply with an up to date CV.Impact are working on behalf of a client as a Recruitment Business.JBRP1_UKTJ
