Quality Manager - Leading Food Manufacturing Business - Finchley
I'm looking for a talented Quality Manager to join a leading food manufacturing business in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about food quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
About the Role
You'll lead the company's quality assurance operations, ensuring products meet the highest standards. On a day-to-day basis, you will:
·Oversee the quality management system (QMS), HACCP, and internal audits.
·Manage testing schedules (microbiological, nutritional, chemical).
·Support external audits and demonstrate compliance.
·Develop the QA team and improve production teams' understanding of technical requirements.
·Monitor KPIs, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
·Lead projects to improve efficiency and resource planning across the business.
About You
·5+ years' experience in food manufacturing in a technical or quality role.
·Strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
·Highly organised with excellent time management.
·BSc or higher in Food Safety or related field.
·Level 3 HACCP & Internal Audit qualification.
·Experience with BRCGS and Retailers' Codes of Practice.
