Join to apply for the Quality Manager role at Dragados UK & Ireland1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Quality Manager role at Dragados UK & IrelandGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Job SummaryThe Quality Manager is responsible for the establishment of A-13 and ECSCU Quality Management System to meet the developing project requirements.Job AdvertJob SummaryThe Quality Manager is responsible for the establishment of A-13 and ECSCU Quality Management System to meet the developing project requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain the overall project management system development scheduleFacilitate the documentation and establishment of project quality processes/procedures in accordance with the agreed scheduleLiaise with project functional heads to help establish quality processesReview potential suppliers for their capability to meet quality requirementsAccept suppliers and nominated teams as being capable of meeting project quality requirementsMonitor and manage the establishment of Quality Management systems beingestablished by the Dragados team and the interface with the supply chainManage the projects integrated audit process to a schedule accepted by the Systems & Assurance Manager and the Project ManagerEstablish Quality KPIs in line with Project requirementsEstablish through the Dragados team the progressive compilation of quality recordsUndertake internal and supply chain audits in line with the Project Audit ScheduleUndertake witnessing or observation of supply chain quality activitiesLiaise with and manage the close-out of Dragados SA Quality issuesMaintain audit related and quality management registers in liaison with the Information Management team and report on progress on a regular basisEstablish software solutions for the quality assurance/control management in liaison with the information management teamLiaise with Environmental and Safety departments to facilitate an integrated approach to project management systemsProvide training or advice as deemed necessary to facilitate the aboveAssist in Dragados pre-qualification and bid activities as requestedQualifications, Certifications & ExperienceThe role will require the post holder to have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal and to be able to report at management level.Educated to degree level or equivalent in a construction, engineering or related discipline. A low educational level combined with extensive experience in a similar role would meet this requirementPrevious experience in a similar quality management system related role including responsibility for deploying project or corporate management systems to ISO 9001:2008 or similar.CQI Practitioner (PCQI) or aboveAble to work as part of a team.Dragados ValuesExcellence: Promoting innovation, development, training and continuous improvement to achieve the highest quality of project delivery.Integrity: Acting ethically and transparently.
