Job Description
Quality Manager – Field-Based (UK)
London HQ / UK Wide | £50,000–£55,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance
About the Role
We are supporting a fast-growing, award-winning quick service restaurant business as they continue to expand across the UK, with plans to open an average of 30 new sites per year.
As part of this growth, they are looking to appoint a Quality Manager to play a key role in maintaining and improving food quality, safety, and compliance standards across their estate.
This is a field-based position, with the majority of time spent in restaurants working directly with teams. It’s a hands-on role focused on driving real operational improvements rather than desk-based reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular visits to restaurants across the UK to assess food quality, hygiene, and compliance
- Work closely with store teams to identify issues and support corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with food safety legislation, EHO standards, and internal brand standards
- Monitor and report on quality trends and recurring issues across the estate
- Support new store openings to ensure quality standards are embedded from day one
- Investigate customer complaints and quality incidents, carrying out root cause analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve food safety and quality performance
- Help build a strong, practical food safety culture across all locations
About You
- Experience in food quality, food safety, or compliance within QSR, hospitality, or food manufacturing
- Strong understanding of UK food safety legislation and standards
- Level 3 Food Safety qualification (or higher)
- Experience working in a multi-site or field-based role
- Confident communicator, able to influence and support teams at all levels
- Practical, proactive approach with a focus on solving problems on-site
- Willingness to travel regularly across the UK
Desirable Experience
- Experience working across a multi-site estate (20+ locations)
- Internal auditing experience or relevant qualification
- Exposure to franchise operations
- Knowledge of BRCGS or similar standards
What’s on Offer
- Salary of £50,000–£55,000
- £5,000 car allowance
- Private medical insurance and life assurance
- Employee discounts and wellbeing support
- Career development opportunities, including funded qualifications
Why Apply
This is an opportunity to join a business in a high-growth phase, where quality and operational standards are central to its continued success. The role offers strong visibility across the organisation and the chance to make a direct impact as the estate continues to expand.
