Main Purpose of Role To inspect assembled products prior to release as per NPI and customer specific requirements.

Outcomes of Role Ensure product is built to customer requirements Achieve 100% conformity to relevant IPC standards Satisfied internal and external customers Reduce/eliminate outgoing defects reaching the customer Ensure Zero Defect Escapes

Responsibilities Inspect NPI first off unit prior to release in line with IPC-A-610 standards and/or customer specific requirements Inspect box build assembled units prior to release in line with relevant IPC standards and/or customer specific requirements Check the quality of live throughput (Random product line audits) Conducting FOD audits Liaise with departments on any potential risks or quality concerns with the product Ensure that all company operating values and compliance procedures are adhered to at all times, including quality management, health and safety, legal stipulation, environmental policies and general duty of care. Feedback on any Quality issues Any other duties deemed necessary

ESSENTIAL SKILLS Previous experience in a Quality role within manufacturing Adequate numeracy and literacy skills Computer literacy / IT competent Working in teams Good communication skills
