Junior Quant Developer (1+ yrs) - Onsite or Fully Remote - Up to £250k total comp


Who? Fully remote high-frequency trader

How? Working next to researchers and traders in a front office capacity


They are seeking top talent to work on their ultra-low latency trading infrastructure, capable of picosecond-level trading across multiple asset classes, including digital assets.


The team includes elite Kaggle Grandmasters and ICPC/IOI competitors, using advanced ML models in live production with microwave towers.


Operating in a semi-pod structure, they have centralised research for backtesting, data, and execution, with teams working in collaborative "silos". They offer fast feedback loops and very tangible results for work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Rapidly and efficiently develop trading algorithms, balancing performance and maintainability.
  • Collaborate closely with the Quantitative Research team on technical tasks.
  • Write extensive code focusing on asynchronous operations, templates, networking, and thread safety.


WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, with a background in competitive programming.
  • Proficiency in C or C++.
  • Familiarity with Linux system internals and networking.
  • Adequate written and spoken English skills for working in an international team.


BONUS SKILLS:

  • Expertise in low-latency or real-time development with sub-microsecond latency.
  • Experience with LockFree containers and related design patterns.
