A growing groundworks and civil engineering contractor is expanding its commercial team following continued project wins and the opening of a brand-new regional office. This is an opportunity to join a business on a clear upward trajectory, offering long-term stability, strong progression and exposure to major groundwork and civils packages across residential and commercial developments. All levels of Quantity Surveyor are considered. Quantity Surveyor Overview: You will be responsible for the commercial management of groundworks and civils projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with experienced operational and commercial teams. Typical projects include: Residential developments (100500+ units)
Large groundworks and infrastructure packages
Project values typically £5m£30m+
Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities: Cost control, reporting and forecasting
Measurement, valuations and variations
Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts
Preparing client applications and final accounts
Working closely with site teams to protect margins
(Level of responsibility will reflect experience.) Quantity Surveyor Requirements: Experience within groundworks, civils or infrastructure
