Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: TN17 (Kent) – Site & Office Based
Overview We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team, based in the TN17 area. The role will involve the commercial management of concrete and groundworks packages across a range of construction projects, supporting delivery teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities

Commercial management of concrete works packages, including reinforced concrete, formwork, and associated groundworks
*
Preparation, negotiation, and agreement of subcontractor packages
*
Measurement, valuation, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle
*
Preparation and submission of interim applications for payment
*
Assessment and agreement of variations and final accounts
*
Cost reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management
*
Liaison with site teams, clients, and subcontractors to support successful project delivery
*
Ensure commercial compliance with contract terms and company procedures

Groundworks and substructures
*
Infrastructure and commercial projects (depending on workload)
Experience & Skills
*
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the concrete, groundworks, or civil engineering sectors
*
Strong understanding of reinforced concrete construction methodologies
*
Good working knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g. JCT, NEC)
*
Strong numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
*
Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams
Qualifications
*
Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
*
Relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications
