Job Advertisement\n\nOverview\n\nWe are seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy based in Croydon. The ideal candidate will have the MRICS qualification. Within the role you will primarily be working on industrial and logistics building projects.

Previous experinece in this area whilst desirable is not essential. This position is at a senior or associate level and offers a competitive salary of up to £90k with excellent benefits.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nConduct cost estimates and budget preparation for industrial and logistics building projects\nProvide advice on procurement strategy and contract administration\nPerform risk management and value engineering to optimize project costs\nCollaborate with project teams to ensure cost control and financial reporting\n\nQualifications\n\nMRICS qualification (or on a pathway to it)\nProven experience in quantity surveying for new build construction projects\nStrong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement methods\nExcellent communication and negotiation skills\n\nDay-to-day\n\nAs a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, including cost estimation, contract management, and cost control.
