The role
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of projects across multiple sectors. You will ensure cost control, accurate financial reporting, and strong commercial performance from pre-construction through to final account.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and manage project budgets, cashflow, and cost plans

Prepare valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts

Procure subcontractors and negotiate contracts

Monitor project costs against budgets and forecasts

Lead commercial reporting using Procore

Work closely with project managers, site teams, and senior leadership

Maintain strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners

About you
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction contracting

Experience across education, healthcare, residential or commercial projects beneficial

Strong understanding of UK construction contracts and procurement routes

Excellent negotiation, communication, and reporting skills

High attention to detail and strong financial acumen

Procore experience advantageous but training can be provided
