The role
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of projects across multiple sectors. You will ensure cost control, accurate financial reporting, and strong commercial performance from pre-construction through to final account.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cashflow, and cost plans

  • Prepare valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts

  • Procure subcontractors and negotiate contracts

  • Monitor project costs against budgets and forecasts

  • Lead commercial reporting using Procore

  • Work closely with project managers, site teams, and senior leadership

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners

About you

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction contracting

  • Experience across education, healthcare, residential or commercial projects beneficial

  • Strong understanding of UK construction contracts and procurement routes

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and reporting skills

  • High attention to detail and strong financial acumen

  • Procore experience advantageous but training can be provided
