A national property services contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor Retrofit to support the commercial delivery of long-term social housing decarbonisation and retrofit programmes across Bristol and the South West.

These are secured frameworks delivering PAS2035 retrofit, insulation, energy efficiency and planned works programmes, with 35 years confirmed workload.

The Role Quantity Surveyor (Retrofit)

As Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for retrofit and decarbonisation contracts delivering improvements to social housing stock.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing CVRs, cost reporting and commercial forecasting

• Preparing valuations, variations and final accounts

• Managing subcontract procurement and payments

• Supporting delivery of PAS2035 retrofit and energy efficiency programmes

• Ensuring projects deliver commercial performance and value

• Working closely with operational teams and housing association clients

The role includes both office and site presence to maintain accurate commercial reporting and project performance.

What Were Looking For

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor

• Experience within retrofit, decarbonisation, energy efficiency or planned maintenance

• Knowledge of PAS2035, ECO4, SHDF or similar retrofit frameworks

• Strong commercial management capability

• Familiarity with JCT or NEC contracts

• Strong analytical, negotiation and reporting skills

• Advanced Excel and measurement software skills

Experience working with housing associations, local authorities or public sector clients is highly desirable.
