Quantity Surveyor Location: Gloucester Sector: Insurance Repairs, General Works, Property Services Salary: Up to £55,000 Package The Opportunity A great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established construction and property services contractor specialising in insurance reinstatement, repairs and refurbishment works. This role offers excellent variety, working across fire, flood, subsidence and general damage repair projects. It’s ideal for a surveyor who enjoys commercially managing smaller, fast-paced schemes rather than large multi-million pound developments. Role Overview You will be responsible for: * Managing commercial delivery of insurance repair and refurbishment projects. * Pricing works from first principles including labour, plant and materials. * Preparing quotations, budgets and cost reports. * Procuring subcontractors and managing packages. * Producing valuations, variations and final accounts. * Liaising with clients, loss adjusters and operational teams. * Managing multiple live projects simultaneously. * Supporting overall project profitability and performance. About You * Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a contractor environment. * Background in general works, refurbishment or insurance repairs . * Comfortable pricing smaller projects independently. * Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail. * Good communicator and team player. * Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent experience.
