Vacancy Summary\n\nJob Title: Quantity Surveyor\n\nJob Type: Permanent\n\nJob Ref: #1156\n\nLocation: Cambridgeshire\n\nStart Date: ASAP\n\nSalary: c£50k-£60k basic plus competitive package inc car allowance, healthcare, pension etc.\n\nCompany & Project: A regional Main Contractor with a busy pipeline of work across Cambridgeshire are looking to grow their Commercial team due to new projects secured. The business works across the Mixed-Use, Residential, Education and Healthcare sectors.\n\nThe successful candidate will be joining the business to work on a project c£5m Commercial project.\n\nWith a clear structure and programme in place for their employees personal development, this role is a very good opportunity for a surveyor to lead their own projects in a collaborative team environment. \n\nDuties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing daily commercial management functions, including but not limited to; measurement & valuations, applications for payment, reconciling accounts, dealing with sub-contract orders and enquiries, through to practical completion of the project and settling final accounts .\n\nDesirable Experience:\n\nMinimum 3 years+ experience as an QS working for a Main Contractor or large developer/house builder.\nGood communication skills.\nUse of JCT or NEC Contracts is essential.
