Morson Edge are working with a well known contractor who are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Ground Investigation/Infrastructure division. Role - Quantity Surveyor Location(s) - Basingstoke/Maidstone Salary - £50k car allowance and other benefits Project Values - from £500k to £2.5million Quantity Surveyor for the Southern Region of the business. To assist the Operations team in managing and overseeing all commercial matters on projects from tender handover, through delivery to completion. To provide Commercial input and advice to Project Manager (PM)'s and Engineers as necessary while managing the region's commercial performance. Qualifications - Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent - Membership of the RICS, CIOB, or ICES or at least working towards full membership Competencies - Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and peers, both verbally and in writing. - Ability to be precise and meticulous in ensuring processes are carried out correctly and in a timely manner. - Ability to apply business acumen to solve problems. - Ability to effectively manage time and tasks to achieve high productivity - Able to produce work in an accurate and timely manner - Able to work effectively and responsibly without close supervision - Able to prioritise work efficiently - Able to produce high quality, accurate documentation - Full clean driving licence - Good interpersonal and communication skills - Strong business acumen, able to solve problems - Good computer literacy skills - Ability to produce work in an accurate and timely manner Essential - Min 3 years QS experience - Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent Desirable - Knowledge of the construction industry and ground investigations - NEC3/4 Proficient to be considered for this please send me an updated CV to - (url removed)
