Job Description
I'm working with a well-established, privately owned civil engineering contractor that continues to grow across its infrastructure and rail frameworks. Due to ongoing project awards, they're looking to appoint a capable Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their commercial team.

\n The Role \n
Reporting into a Senior or Lead Quantity Surveyor, you'll take commercial responsibility for live projects from early engagement through to final account. Typical duties will include:
\n
\n \n Commercial management of civil engineering / infrastructure projects
\n
\n
\n Cost planning, forecasting and CVR reporting
\n
\n
\n Contract administration, including variations and valuations
\n
\n
\n Subcontractor procurement and account management
\n
\n
\n Identifying and managing commercial risk and opportunity
\n
\n
\n Working closely with project teams, clients and the supply chain
\n
\n
\n About You \n
\n \n Degree, HND or HNC in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
\n
\n
\n Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, infrastructure or rail
\n
\n
\n Strong commercial awareness and contract knowledge
\n
\n
\n Confident communicator, able to engage with clients and internal teams
\n
\n
\n Organised, analytical and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
\n
\n
\n
Candidates working towards chartership (RICS / CICES or similar) will be viewed favourably.
